Summary

This bundle is the canonical synthesis layer over four primary evidence bundles. It exists to support news-driven strategy brainstorming by an LLM agent, where every candidate strategy must state a genuine edge claim and a computable, mechanically verifiable expected value (EV). The evidence bundles remain the primary source of truth for book content; wiki concepts distill and point into them rather than restating them.

Synthesis-Layer Rule

  1. The wiki is the synthesis plane; the four sibling bundles are the evidence plane.
  2. No restatement: a wiki concept must not restate what a linked source concept already says. Distill, synthesize, cross-link. Target 60–120 lines per concept.
  3. Book-derived concepts are status: stable and cite sibling-bundle concepts via sources[].
  4. Modern / model-drafted concepts (holders 50, 60, 70, the case studies, 0DTE strategies) are status: draft until the user verifies them against named references. They MUST carry a # References body section naming real, checkable sources. Draft concepts are never silently promoted to stable; promotion is a user (human:yasu) verified event.

Authoring Conventions (OKF v0.2)

Frontmatter template for every concept:

---
type: Concept # Concept | Topic | Playbook | Case Study | Attested Computation
title: <display name>
description: <one line>
tags: [..]
generated: { by: <agent>/<version>, at: <ISO-8601 UTC> }
verified: { by: human:yasu, at: <ISO-8601 UTC> } # optional; implies human-reviewed
status: stable # draft | stable | deprecated
stale_after: <ISO-8601 UTC> # REQUIRED for inbox/news and dated playbooks
sources:
  - id: <short-id>
    resource: PATH-OR-URL # e.g. ../option-traders-hedge-fund-bundle/topics/greeks.md
    title: <label>
---
  • type is required; title, description, tags recommended. Actor convention per spec §7 (agent/<name>, human:<id>, process:<id>).
  • Body structure: # Summary (2–4 sentences), 2–5 content sections (headings, tables, lists), # Links (see-also, wiki-internal).
  • Internal links are bundle-rooted per spec §6.1: [The Greeks](10-pricing-greeks/delta-and-gamma.md).
  • Evidence pointers: sources[].resource uses relative paths into sibling bundles (e.g. ../option-traders-hedge-fund-bundle/topics/greeks.md) or URLs. These are advisory evidence pointers by design; only intra-wiki links are validated strictly.
  • Per-claim attribution uses markdown footnotes keyed to sources[].id (spec §5.1).

EV Contract (owner decisions, council-amended 2026-09-09)

Every EV claim in a playbook must:

  1. Link an Attested Computation concept in 85-computations (runtime: python) and run the blessed code — never improvise EV arithmetic in prose (spec §10).
  2. Use real-world probabilities (not risk-neutral), with the probability model named (historical conditional, GARCH/HAR forecast, etc.).
  3. Include an explicit cost model: commissions, fees, slippage/spread, borrow/assignment where relevant (the books ignore these).
  4. Report a baseline comparator: at minimum the IV−RV (variance risk premium) spread and a GARCH/HAR-class vol forecast. Positive EV without beating the baseline is not edge.
  5. State the regime context at evaluation time, linking 60-regimes concepts.
  6. EV tooling: python + py_vollib-class pricing; data from ThetaData (options, 1-min bars from 2016) and Tiingo (underlying EOD). Executor receipts are recorded per run; the deterministic attester in references/attesters/ re-executes the blessed computation on each receipt's inputs and rejects any receipt whose outputs it cannot reproduce (since 2026-09-17).

News-Intake Policy

  • Current-events sources enter via 95-inbox as append-only, dated concepts (one event/insight per concept, filename prefixed YYYY-MM-DD-).
  • Required metadata: publication date, retrieval date, as-of time, canonical URL, and a snapshot note (quote or hash) so revised pages cannot masquerade as fresh ones.
  • Every inbox concept carries stale_after; expired items are status: deprecated, not deleted.
  • Intake convention: 95-inbox/source-intake-convention.md.
